Our Church Mission Statement:
We will:

Share Christ with others
Achieve Growth in our church
Strengthen our faith

You will find a warm welcome within the fellowship at Marnhull whether you are a visitor to the Blackmore Vale or are planning to move into the area.

Marnhull is a large village about 3 miles from Sturminster Newton.  There are two Voluntary Aided Primary schools, one Church of England, the other Roman Catholic.  It is a lively, active village with many societies, a good recreation ground and several sports clubs.  There is an active Churches Together link between the three denominations in the village.

These are some of the things that are central to our life and faith:…

  • Marnhull Village Care - set up by local churches offers Pastoral care and support to anyone in the village
  • The Girls’ Brigade - The first Marnhull Girls’ Brigade is a lively Company that provides girls with fun and faith!
  • Churches Together in Marnhull - offers a wide variety of faith-based and social events throughout the year – regular joint services, monthly prayer meeting, Lent courses and lunches, etc
  • Fifth Thursday Suppers – an informal supper at 6.30pm (normally when there is a fifth Thursday) for fellowship and conversation about church life and faith

Sunday Worship:
10.00am   Morning Worship – traditional and contemporary worship is led by our Minister, Lay Preachers and Retired Clergy;
Holy Communion – once a month, as posted in the Plan and on church noticeboard;

Girls’ Brigade:  Meets on Wednesdays at 6.00pm (Term time only) – providing girls (aged 4 and over) with fun, friendship and faith in Jesus.  Activities include, crafts, music, games and Bible stories.
Craft Group:  Meets on the first Thursday each month from 10.00am-12 noon.
Village Prayer:  Meets on the second Friday of each month at 12 noon for half an hour – a time of quiet prayer and reflection remembering before God the needs of the community and the wider world.  Venue: circulates around the churches in the village (see local notice for venue this month)
