Location: Burton Street, Marnhull, Sturminster Newton DT10 1PS

Our Church Mission Statement:
We will:

Share Christ with others
Achieve Growth in our church
Strengthen our faith

You will find a warm welcome within the fellowship at Marnhull whether you are a visitor to the Blackmore Vale or are planning to move into the area. The original Methodist Chapel was built in 1864 with the current Chapel replacing it in 1899. Sunday Worship is usually held weekly at 10.00 led by ministers, retired clergy and sometimes members of the church family. Holy Communion is held once a month.

The Chapel has a good sized hall, with kitchen and toilet facilities attached, which is frequently in use for church events as well as by other clubs and organisations.

Marnhull is a large friendly village about 3 miles from Sturminster Newton.  There are two Voluntary Aided Primary schools, one Church of England, the other Roman Catholic.  It is a lively, active place with many societies, a good recreation ground, two shops, Post Office, hairdresser and various other small local business.

These are some of the things that are central to our life and faith:…

  • Churches Together in Marnhull - offers a wide variety of faith-based and social events throughout the year – regular joint services, monthly prayer meeting, Lent courses and lunches, etc.
